Bio:I am actually an Industrial Engineer. But since my childhood I have been dealing with foreign languages. First English, then German then French, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Japanese. Of course I am not fluent at many of these languages. But I have a basic understandin...g of their grammar and some basic vocabulary, which would help me to begin and develop conversation abilities quickly. For example, if I would go to Italy for two weeks, after 3 days I would be engaged in that language and speak fluently as if I were living there for years.
I still learn languages at occasions. Recently I began to read old Turkish scripts written by Arabic letters. So I also began to re-discover my mother tongue and to learn alongside Arabic and Persian. I can also read the Greek alphabet.
I began to translate at the Technical University of Istanbul. After graduation andmilitary service, I have worked in two companies for more than one year as a full-time translator.
Then I have switched to Engineering, where I used my German and English intensively. Then I have also translated for some time. Now I work again as a freelancer.
