Holborn - approx. 10 min walk
Euston Square - approx. 10 min walk

The 91, 59, 68 and 168 buses also stop at Russell Square.

This is quite a large pub which I think suits our needs on this occasion. It's big enough for there to be space for all of us and no need to pay extra for a separate room. Because so many have signed up and there are so many 'maybes', I thought it best to have the flexibility this time around. There are other options where we could book a separate room in the future (I particularly like the Lamb on Lamb's Conduit Street, but they charge 50 pounds to hire the separate room).

Please take the time to set your availability to yes/no so that I can confirm numbers with the bar. I've asked them to give us a slightly separate area and they will try to accommodate our needs based on final numbers.

I moved to London a little over a year ago, and have met just a handful of translators since. I used to live in Edinburgh, where I organised informal networking events 4 times a year - 2 in the pub, a Christmas dinner and a summer BBQ. I miss the translators' community we had there and would like to try and replicate it in London!

I am proposing a few drinks in the pub in January. I know that everyone tends to be quite busy in the run-up to Christmas and the new year and felt that January was a good time to start something new. Plus it gives us a bit of time to get the word out and drum up numbers.

I'll do some research to find a good venue in a central location and keep you all posted. In the meantime, please sign up, make suggestions, have a chat, etc.
