Bio:I'm a master student in general linguistics, with a little experience in translating. Language pairs I'd be confident enough to work in are French > English and Portuguese > English. I'm interested in the possibility (or impossibility?) of earning a living primarily as ...a freelance translator.
Bio:Graduated in Language and Literature (Portuguese and English) at University of São Paulo. Translating technical texts since 2009, mostly offshore, mechanical and IT areas.
I'd love to work with Christian books.

Bio:My name is Cristina Tomac. I graduated from Moldova State University in 2013, where I have studied Foreign languages and literatures, particularly English and French. My mother tongue is Romanian and I am also fluent in Russian.
Bio:I am a driven and creative localization translator who loves challenges and is not afraid of working hard and in a fast-paced environment. I specialize in videogame and web localization and I have experience in translation both as a freelancer and in-house.
In my pre...vious job at Big Fish games, I ensured the quality in the translation of the videogames with a very high level of efficiency and very good management skills, with metrics consistently above average. Also, in January 2013 I started a personal project aimed to smooth the translation and testing process, improve the communication and the relevance of the meetings between translators and testers and provide an overview of the areas that need more attention in the localization process. In my time in the company, I have worked extensively with SDL Trados 2009 and 2011 and Microsoft Excel.
I deeply believe in continuous education and personal and professional development, and in a work environment that encourages team work and creativity, where people are trusted and feel at ease. I love the idea of working with people that are brilliant and with whom I can exchange knowledge and experience.
Bio:Hi! I am a German to English translator based in Cork, Ireland. I have been working in language services for over 15 years and became a full-time freelance translator in 2011. I absolutely love working for myself and welcome all opportunities to become more involved in ...our professional community and to develop both my business and my own professional skills.
