Thanks to the career I have chosen I have had the opportunity to travel to many places. In my firsts years at university I went two times to England in order to improve my English. After that I went to Dublin (as an Erasmus) and lived there during ...7 months. Then I decided to do a master (a long one that lasted 2 academic years) in Salamanca, one of the most important universities in Spain and the oldest. I made interesting practices in several fields like law, biosanitary and literary translation, both from English and French into Spanish (my mother tongue). These specialities had the same base, the multicultural mediation which is being so useful to me now in the field of localization.
After finishing the master I traveled to Paris. I worked there as a Spanish teacher and the time spent in there helped me improve my French skills.
My last job is as a translator/proofreader in euroscript Portugal, lda. I've been working for them since July 2010, first as and in-house employee and after as a freelancer. It has been the most productive and enriching experience, from a professional point of view, it has been here where I have become the complete professional translator I always wanted to be. Most of the time I translated/revised documents for the European Union but sometimes I have made translations for other private clients in the biosanitary, technical, marketing and financial fields.More Less Message: Hello every one.
