As a professional translator with a degree from the European Master's in Translation "Language industry and specialized translation" at the University of Paris 7 (now known as the "Master I.L.T.S. - Paris City University"), I have been at your service as a freelance professional translator for some fifteen years.

My speciality? 

Technical documentation, from German into French, particularly in the following fields: robotics and automation, mechanics, machine tools, packaging, safety, transport (trucks), environment, agricultural machinery, multimedia, medical equipment (laboratory glassware), IT and audio-visual, construction and public works, wood (flooring), education and teaching.

I also regularly translate from English into French.

Entrust me with your technical documents such as specifications, technical drawings and diagrams, product documentation, user manuals, safety instructions, engineering reports and user interfaces, software instructions, and so on.

... as well as your training programmes and marketing documents such as press releases, communication materials, websites, brochures, catalogues, etc.

I can handle a variety of formats: Word (.doc, .docx), Excel (.xls, .xlsx), PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx), as well as text files (.txt), HTML (.html), programming files (.xml), etc.

To harmonise terminology and preserve the heterogeneity of sometimes repetitive technical documents, I use CAT (Computer Assisted Translation) tools such as Trados Studio 2021, memoQ 9.6 or Phrase. They don't translate for me, but they help me to manage large volumes of translation while preserving the heterogeneity of the document. They also allow me to apply a discount on repetitions in the text.
