Así festejamos el 20 aniversario de ProZ.com en Argentina, y nuestro primer powwow como nuevo equipo de la oficina de La Plata, ¡estamos felices con los resultados!

Pudimos compartir unos cafés, unas cervezas, y charlar de los desafíos y los placeres de trabajar como traductores e intérpretes.

Trece afortunadas se fueron a casa con una remera de ProZ.com, una taza, un mate, una remera donada por el genio de Joel Pina Diaz ( https://www.proz.com/translator/1144747 ) uno de los asistentes, ¡un par de medias! o una copia del libro "Say Goodbye to Feast or Famine" de Joy Mo ( https://www.proz.com/profile/1180658 ).

También nos dimos el gusto de organizar el primer concurso de traducción en tiempo real de ProZ.com ( http://tiny.cc/ryi3bz ) y Vanesa Alvarez Ortiz ( https://www.proz.com/profile/719785 ), Ivana Chimento Martino ( https://www.proz.com/profile/2719910 ) y Anabella Tonon ( https://www.proz.com/translator/1019276 ) se llevaron cada una el curso “Business skills for translators” de premio.

This is how we celebrated ProZ.com’s 20th anniversary in Argentina, and our first powwow as the new team from La Plata’s office, we’re so happy about how it turned out!

We got to share a couple of cups of coffee, some beers, and our experiences, challenges and the exciting parts of working as translators and interpreters.

Thirteen lucky winners took home a ProZ.com t-shirt, a mug, a mate, a very special t-shirt donated by Joel Pina Diaz ( https://www.proz.com/translator/1144747 ), one of the attendants, a pair of socks, or a copy of Joy Mo’s "Say Goodbye to Feast or Famine" book ( https://www.proz.com/profile/1180658 ).

We also had the opportunity to organize ProZ.com’s first ever real-time translation contest ( http://tiny.cc/ryi3bz ) and Vanesa Alvarez Ortiz ( https://www.proz.com/profile/719785 ), Ivana Chimento Martino ( https://www.proz.com/profile/2719910 ) and Anabella Tonon ( https://www.proz.com/translator/1019276 ) each won the course “Business skills for translators” for their entries.
