I completed a Master in Technical Translation Tools (2007) which followed my Bachelor's Degree in English and German at Barcelona University (1996-2000). Additionally, I attended a Subtitling Course (February 2009) to deeply improve my competences in this domain, even though I had already fixed some subtitles and I was a regular subtitle specialist for SDI Media.
I have collaborated as video games translator and QA (Spanish localization team) with the well-known Blizzard Entertainment headquartered in Irvine CA, and the Production Department of Square Enix (London) as Spanish video games tester. I worked as in-house Spanish Translator at Nintendo of Europe and have cooperated with different clients and agencies in everything related to Multilingual Localization in Games (with strong emphasis on MMOs such as World of Warcraft, Silkroad, DOFUS, Maestia and War of Dragons to mention some of them) using memoQ, Trados, Subtitler Workshop and other localization resources.
Finally, I have acted as Localization and QA Manager for Dragon Nest Europe (www.dragonnest.eu) where I was in charge of the Korean, English, French, German and Spanish localization and testing teams.
