I
have 15 years experience as legal secretary and 4 years’ experience in
import/export business, and I have worked in the translation business since
1997.

1
April 2002 I started my own company MH Group with freelance translation of
English > Danish and French > Danish. In the beginning I worked part
time, but after 1 May 2004 I have worked full time with translation and
proofreading of Danish text.

September 2006 I changed company name to AstraLingua and created my own
website: www.astralingua.dk

Some
of my projects have been technical manuals and medical devices. The fields have
been e.g. patent, QRD, medical text, robots for medical equipment, educational
papers for using medical devices, study medicine, medicine, multimedia, testing
of websites and apps, photo, copy, scan and printing machines, sport equipment,
cars, sand suction, agricultural machines, music systems, TV and radio,
instructions, questionnaires, computer manuals and text for websites. 

Recently,
I have also translated educational papers for EU institutions from English to
Danish.

My
translations have been for customers such as Sanofi, Covidien, Carestream,
Coloplast, Castrol, Novo Nordisk, Medtronic, DHL, Levis, Coloplast, Jaguar,
Siemens, Samsung, Ricoh, Nikon, Canon, Microsoft, Pentax, Renault, Bobcat,
DeWalt, Avis, Toshiba, Minolta, Dell, Philips, McAfee etc.
