Manual cleaning (flushing the spout)
■ We recommend that you always clean the coffee spout when you have finished using it.
It is also recommended to do this when the appliance has not been used for an extended period of time.
■ In the stand-by mode, simultaneously press and hold down buttons B7 and B8 for 5 seconds.
■ The light on buttons B8, B9 and B10 will turn off.
A small amount of water will flow out of the spout, which will flush it out.
Water will flow into the drip tray A11.

Anche la definizione che hai riportato usa "spurgare" con "canale di scolo" o "fogna", come anche:

L’azione, l’operazione di spurgare, il fatto di venire spurgato: pratiche mediche per lo s. dei bronchi; provvedere allo s. periodico di un canale, delle fogne; tenere, lasciare le lumache a spurgo per qualche giorno, prima di cucinarle. b. Con sign. concreto, la materia, il materiale che si spurga: esaminare, analizzare gli s. di un malato, come catarro espettorato o prelevato; smaltire gli s. delle fogne, delle latrine, di un canale di scarico.
