For the first time in history, there shall be a Powwow in the city of Jundiaí which lies 60 km from São Paulo and is the gateway to the Fruit Circuit, a series of cities famous for their production of fruit. I have chosen one of the most famous restaurants in town with over 100 dish options:

To get there, you can take the Viação Fênix or Viação Cometa buses from Tietê or Barra Funda (in BF, Cometa only) in São Paulo. There are also direct connections from Rio de Janeiro, Campinas and the ABC region. I recommend the 11:00 Fênix bus from Tietê. On arriving in Jundiaí, take the 522 or 721 bus to the Central Terminal, then it's a short walk or taxi ride. (Über is available normally)
However, the smart way to do it is to get the Tourist Train from Luz Station (book in advance, this train trip is very popular). As you chug to Jundiaí you will be able to experience the São Paulo Railway, built by the British (of course). Then walk to the adjoining Vila Arens Terminal and take the 712 or 721 bus to the Central Terminal. From there, it's a short walk or taxi ride. Afterwards, you just go back to Jundiaí station and return on the SPR train to Luz.

Para chegar, pegue o ônibus da Viação Fênix ou Viação Cometa da Rodoviária Tietê ou da Barra Funda (apenas Cometa) em São Paulo. Há linhas diretas do Rio de Janeiro, de Campinas, e da região do ABC. Recomendo o ônibus das 11:00 da Viação Fênix. Ao chegar em Jundiaí, pegue o ônibus 522 ou 721 ao Terminal Central, depois uma curta caminhada ou corrida de táxi (há Über na cidade)
No entanto, o meio mais charmoso é pegar o Trem Turístico na Estação da Luz. (Reserve com antecedência, pois esta viagem de trem é muito procurado) Ao viajar a Jundiaí poderá vivenciar a São Paulo Railway, construído pelos ingleses (é lógico). Ao chegar, caminhe até o Terminal Vila Arens e pegue o ônibus 712 ou 721 até o Terminal Central. Depois, uma curta caminhada ou corrida de táxi. Depois, volte à estação de trem e pegue o trem turístico da SPR até a Estação da Luz.
