ProZ/TV The interpreter's journey: Building resilience, finding renewal
A virtual conference dedicated to the evolving world of interpreting in 2026.
At its heart, the event is about interpreters finding fresh strength, refining their path, staying on the loop of AI advances, and reconnecting with purpose.
I am really new to Trados and have some really basic questions as:
How to configure Trados in order to create a Translation Memory when starting a project.
How to import an already existing translation pair (e.g. from Word) in order to create a TM.
I already have Trados Studio 2007 on my computer and when I installed SDL Trados Studio 2009 I wanted to have both versions available for use because one of my customers has not upgraded to 2009 yet. I thought I had selected the option to have both versions running side by side but 2009 has "taken over" the computer. If I re-install 2007 what must I do to ensure both versions are running? ( I could also run one version on my laptop).
I use Trados Studio without the Multiterm. Before buying the application I would like to know how it compares with the Cross Term facility provided with Across CAT. Is it as user friendly?
