I wouldn't give myself advice, but a reassuring talk: "Don't worry, you will do just fine."
As much as some may want to, we cannot go back in time. So, it’s a useless waste of time…

Saving money would definitelly be not an option. But buying gold?.. Yes! That could have been the most wisest tip for myself.

Without reducing everything to luck and failing to recognise the importance of merit, I can't help but acknowledge the importance of being in the right place at the right time. In life, a lot happens by chance and a door opens when you least expect it...

There is no 'one tip'.
Also, I don't always do the things I know I ought to be doing now, so what chance would I have convincing my past self to be better?

I would have earned a lot more (or had a lot more free time) if I had been able to type with more than about four fingers and without looking at the keyboard.

If I could travel back in time, then shouldn't I be making a buck out of a fortune-telling business? My predictions would always be accurate because I already know what would happen. Politicians and CEOs from all nations would come to me, asking for some advice. They'd all be under my thumb, allowing me to assume control over politics and economy, and even attempt a world domination. And while I'm at it, I might as well establish my own religion.
Just a thought.
