An 82-year-old man with a history of angina was the front seat passenger in a car that collided with a tree. He experienced central chest pain immediately upon impact. Examination revealed tenderness over the sternum while a murmur indicative of aortic stenosis was heard on auscultation. Vital signs confirmed haemodynamic stability.
