La Trayectoria”, como el título lo expresa, es un recorrido de los éxitos en vivo que por más de 21 años ha cosechado la inigualable y explosiva cantante

I know I'm not supposed to translate titles, but I was thinking of putting this in brackets afterwards.

Track Record or Career

This is a business term, but I think the concept fits. It means career. A superb example comes to my mind and that is the late great Nuyorican conguero Ray "Hard Hands" Barretto both latin jazz and afro-caribbean music. His track record spanned from 1950 when he got started as a sideman playing with jazz and latin groups, played congas for the Tito Puente orchestra (1957-61), and became a bandleader in 1961 and went on to become a legend in both the latin and jazz worlds. He was awarded the annual Jazz Master Award by the NEA (National Endowment for the Arts) in January this year. Unfortunately, he passed away one month later. As an amateur conga & bongo drummer myself, I always perceived Ray Barretto as a giant down and held him in the highest esteem throughout the years. His "track record - career" as both a conguero, bandleader and sideman on hundreds of jazz recordings down through the years is nothing less than outstanding, to say the least.
Hope this helps.

I goofed. Sorry.
I always perceived Ray Barretto as a giant down and held him in the highest esteem throughout the years.
The foregoing sentence should read as follows:
I always perceived Ray Barretto as a giant and held him in the highest esteem down through the years.
Con aché,
Richard
