Spanish to English Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters Web page

Thank you Carol Will Do. You should post your entry too, Carola can draw some inspiration from all of them!
Carol Gullidge Apr 14, 2011:
@ lorenab23 why don't you post that as an answer! That is exactly how I interpret it, and was going to post something v similar. I would definitely agree with yours!
lorenab23 Apr 14, 2011:
accidente I read it as unexpected. The unexpected that is being created/generated by what I am covering, by what is being left.
The artist seems to be saying that she doesn't have a particular plan, that she works with the randomness and eventuality of it all because things come from her subconscious
My humble take.
Bubo Coroman (X) Apr 14, 2011:
I don't know what your opinion is Noni, but I understand "el accidente" to be like "el amor", "la justicia": an abstract, as opposed to a concrete concept
Noni Gilbert Riley Apr 14, 2011:

sometimes with happenstance that is unfolding

happenstance on the whole has pleasant connotations, while "accident" can have harmful ones

happenstance: happenstance (an event that might have been arranged although it was really ***accidental***)

sometimes with accidents that occur

Hi Carola

I think she refers to accident in the sense of an unforeseen and unplanned event or circumstance (related to her painting of course).

I think the present continuos here ("se va produciendo") should be present simple in this case.

Hope it helps!
