Este término aparece en varias ocasiones en un documental sobre hipopótamos haciendo referencia a dichos animales. El documental tiene un tono bastante peculiar y habla de la manada de hipopótamos equiparándola a una banda de gángsters.

Mi pregunta es si en este caso, se refiere a bull en el sentido de macho.

Algunas frases:

El termino se usa para los machos de varios mamiferos, no solo los toros. Por ejemplo los elefantes y otros
