14 ABSORBED POWER (kW)

The absorbed power is the expected power that will be drawn by the load.
This value is taken into account to calculate the overall load consumption of the plant and hence to size the main electrical equipment (Generators, Transformer, Switchgears, etc.)

For Rotating Equipment: Driven Machine Rated/Guaranteed point required power at Motor Shaft in kW
For Static Equipment: Requested power during normal working condition in kW


15 MAXIMUM ABSORBED POWER (kW)

The maxium absorbed power is related to the motor only. Its value is necessary to proper select the motor rating only and it's not taken into account to size the main electrical equipment.

For Rotating Equipment: Driven Machine Maximum required power at motor coupling in kW (whichever greater among any operating condition
including API margin or specific design specification margin and the End of Curve, according to project requirements)

For Static Equipment: Not Applicable - Same value of the Absorbed Power in kW
