I am a UK-native English translator with 17 years of experience,
specialising in Italian to English translation and post-editing. I started my
translation career in Italy, where I spent five years, working first as a TEFL
teacher before becoming an in-house translator. I currently live in the UK working
as a freelancer for clients who require clear and confident business translations
into English. I have extensive experience in translation and MTPE across a wide
range of fields, including business, finance, ESG, automotive, fashion, food
& beverage, engineering, marketing, and many others.

Before I began translating, I trained and worked as an
environmental geologist and auditor for nearly eight years. Additionally, I
spent two years in academic research, co-authoring several scientific
publications. This background has provided me with a strong understanding of
technical language and the skills needed for precise business and academic writing.
