I am a long term Italian based native Danish and half German. I started as a freelance translator almost 6 years ago when I took the decision to quit my job (one of the best decisions in my life) and start all over again as my own boss. I love what I do, I am a sort of workaholic with lots of energy and curiosity. Although well established I continuously look for new customers as I believe that new collaborations are healthy for developing new skills and keeping yourself on your toes. I consider myself a highly target language oriented translator, not always following prescriptions from grammar nerds or eager translation revisers. My priority is a fluent, reader friendly neutral language that can easily be read by everyone. Talking manuals of course.

If you need to place a high volume job, I can offer a tandem translation in the language combinations en-da, ge-da, se-da together with a highly qualified native Danish translator upon request. Apart from the obvious advantages connected to a tandem translation in terms of quality rather than having two or more translators working separately, you also get a faster and proofed delivery.
