I am French, married to an Englishman and mum to a German/French/English toddler... born in Germany before we came back to the UK in 2006.
Although I wasn't trained as a professional translator, I was always interested in translation. I have a French "maitrise LEA" in English and German and an import-export training as well ("Assistante du Commerce International").
After graduating I left France to live in Germany. During the 8 years I lived there I was always working in an international environment and sometimes had to do translations for the various companies I worked for (as an international shipping agent; import-export assistant; international assistant).
I am now working as an interpreter over the phone and I am CURRENTLY NOT LOOKING FOR TRANSLATION WORK.
