Originally from Oxford in Great Britain, I have now been living in
France for 27 years. I began my career as a Teacher of English as a
Foreign Language, working with companies in Paris and students studying
for the British Chamber of Commerce courses in business and tourism.
Following that came 3 years managing the French-American Center in
Montpellier, which offers a wide range of languages classes and exchange
programs. After completing a post-graduate course in Tourism at Nice
University I began a 20 year management career with some of the UK’s biggest tour operators in camping (Eurocamp, EuroSites, Canvas Holidays, Homair Vacances), hotels (Airtours), holiday rentals (First Choice Holidays) and the chalet manufacturer Samibois. Throughout my career
I have translated and interpreted from French to English on a daily
basis and I have a vast vocabulary base in the field of tourism.
