I am currently working as a content developer and a freelancer translator. I have the love of working with languages and combining my computer programming skills. With my translation knowledge and experience I believe there is a big role to play in the natural language processing field, translation is one of more roles to play.

I specialize in IT(software/hardware), Engineering and Medical translations. I have worked with Law, finance and marketing translations as well.

I have completed an honours degree in computing with the University of South Africa, researching in the field of Natural Language Processing. Focusing on cleaning digital text for the construction of language corpus, working mainly with Xhosa text, the text is extracted from the internet and some other authorized documents, it is the cleaned, tokenized, processed and structure in XML.

I have more than 4 years experience in translations and transcriptions. I have a passion to improve my knowledge, skills and learn other languages in the processes.
