English to Italian: The Toast Heated Pillow General field: Marketing Detailed field: Internet, e-Commerce
Source text - English Keeping warm is no mean feat when the merciless chills of winter start creeping in.
You can clutch onto a smelly hot water bottle that'll be cold in less than an hour; shuffle round in a pair of slippers, layer on a multitude of hats and scarves or just give up and crawl back into bed.
Now a distinctly more toasty solution has popped up – the Toast Heated Pillow.
Snuggle and squeeze this super-sized (and very smiley) slice and he'll keep you nice and cosy for up to 4 hours.
A cleverly concealed internal battery pack is quickly charged up via USB; making him the perfect cuddly companion for those long days spent shivering in the office and those cold wintry nights lazing on your laptop.
He's as soft as he is cute (beyond words) so we'd recommend buying two and transforming yourself into a joyous human toastie.
French to Italian: Quel est le rythme idéal? General field: Medical Detailed field: Food & Drink
Translation - Italian Nella nostra cultura siamo abituati a consumare tre pasti al giorno, mentre gli asiatici mangiano cinque volte al giorno.
English to Italian: Zacharias' story General field: Other Detailed field: Religion
Source text - English Zacharias lived in the hill country southwest of Jerusalem. According to Moses’ instructions,to be a priest, one had to be a descendant of the original high priest, Aaron (Ex. 28:1). Zacharias’ wife, Elizabeth, was also a descendant of Aaron. Both were upright, godly individuals. Only one thing marred their lives: They had grown old without having children (Lk. 1:7).
The priests had been divided into twenty-four divisions, or orders (1 Chron. 24:1–19).
Zacharias was of the division of Abijah (Lk. 1:5; see 1 Chron. 24:10). The orders took turns ministering in the temple, a week at a time. Each week, lots were cast regarding temple duties (Lk. 1:9). The most coveted task was offering incense on the altar that stood before the curtain that hid the most Holy Place. This was the closest an ordinary priest could come to that hallowed spot. It was an honor that might come once in a lifetime.
As the story begins, it was Zacharias’ week to serve in the temple—and he had the privilege of offering incense. As he walked into the holy place, he must have been thinking what a special day
it was. It was to be even more special than he could have anticipated—for an angel of the Lord named Gabriel appeared to him. In the Bible, only two angels are named: Gabriel (Lk. 1:19, 26; see Dan. 8:16; 9:21) and Michael (Jude 9; Rev. 12:7; see Dan. 10:13, 21; 12:1). The word angel is a transliteration of the Greek word ἄγγελος (aggelos) which literally means ″messenger.″
