Source text - English Annual employee surveys tend to be lengthy beasts, often exceeding 50—and sometimes over 100—questions. The biggest issue? Long surveys induce a phenomenon in survey takers known as “survey fatigue.” Survey fatigue occurs when people become bored, tired, or restless while responding to your survey. The damaging outcome is fudged answers and inaccurate data.
As a general rule, shorter surveys collect stronger responses.

Source text - English I love the opportunity to mix home and office for my working environment.
Sometimes when you need to have “focus time” and don’t have a lot of meetings during the day – staying at home with your home office setup is my preferred option.
I am an early bird type, and if I don’t have any workouts planned before the start of the working day, I’ll be one of the first people in the office.
Starting the day with a healthy breakfast and a delicious cup of coffee are two routines I usually follow at work.
On a typical day, I’ll meet with stakeholders on multiple topics. Constantly switching between different teams’ requests is standard in my job. I would mainly improve processes and tools, overcome bottlenecks and foresee possible risks. I also consider customers’ interests (both external and internal) and help take care of team members.

Wenn ich mich stark konzentrieren muss und nicht viele Meetings habe, arbeite ich am liebsten im Homeoffice.

I have worked in the localization industry since 2001.
Since July 2011 I have been working as a freelance translator and transcreator specializing in the field of IT/computer technology with a focus on cloud computing, security and IT-related marketing (white papers, case studies, brochures, websites, blog posts...) as well as digital marketing, talent management, user experience management and diverse topics when it comes to transcreation. One of my passion besides languages is (outdoor) sports and I plan to extend my services to this field, too!
Before freelancing, I was employed at a translation agency as a senior translator and language coordinator, taking care of translations, language lead and quality assurance tasks for projects mainly from the IT sector.
I am proficient in a lot of CAT tools and always interested in getting to know new ones.
