Hello, I am Belgian-born and grew up in a French-speaking family living in Antwerp. I went to school in Dutch and learned English and German. I also did 6 years of Latin and 5 years of ancient Greek. I studied Clinical & Industrial Psychology at the University of Louvain and worked in Brussels initially as a psychologist, then in the corporate world, with British, American and Canadian companies. I migrated to Australia and have since been working in the health area. From 2003 to 2013 I was working for the multicultural health services of NSW Health. This means that I was in daily contact with people from about 75 different languages and as many countries. In 2013 I resigned from the job to establish myself as a freelance translator. I have been translating from a very early stage in my career, being fluent in 3 languages (French, Dutch and English).

I have a very broad general culture and am interested in a number of fields. I love translating and interpreting. I love languages, etymology, linguistics, and communication in general.

I am a bit of a perfectionist and like to make sure I deliver as perfect a job as possible. My translation and interpreting work has always been favourably commented on.
