This PowWow is a special feijoada PowWow held at one of SP's most traditional and touristy restaurants, specialised in the king of Brazilian dishes, which is feijoada. Leave some space for the wonderful desserts which, together with Brazilian firewater (caipirinha), batida de limão (a kind of lemon cocktail - alcoholic), pork rinds, manioc root and as much feijoada as you can eat, are included in the set buffet price of R$ 60.00 per head (other drinks and tip extra).
The restaurant is in the heart of Vila Madalena, which is Brazil's answer to Notting Hill. After wolfing down tons of feijoada, you can visit this exquisite district.

HOW TO GET THERE: From Vila Madalena Tube on the Green Line, taken bus 138 (Munhoz Júnior), it's the first stop after Wizard street, the restaurant is half a block along Aspicuelta Street, heading uphill (only a slight climb). Returning, the 138 (Metrô Vila Madalena) passes in front of the restaurant.

Please note the change of time, 12:30 rather than the usual 13:00. This is because I have been told the restaurant fills up very quickly on Saturdays.

COMO CHEGAR: No Metrô Vila Madalena, na linha 2-Verde, pegue o ônibus 138 (Munhoz Júnior), descer no primeiro ponto depois da Rua Wizard, o restaurante está a meio quarteirão, na Rua Aspicuelta (por uma leve subida). Voltando, o ônibus 138 (Metrô Vila Madalena) passa na porta do restaurante.

Observe a mudança no horário, com o encontro sendo às 12:30 horas e não às 13 horas como tradicionalmente é. Isso porque me informaram que este restaurante lota muito rápido aos sábados.
