It does indeed seem that the Malt Cross will be too busy/loud on a Saturday afternoon. Am tempted to go back to the Waterfront (April gathering). Any other ideas?
I personally like the Canalhouse better, which is two pubs down. They have a nice outside area en inside seems quiet too.

I've only been there when it was packed but it is nice. Let's see what Frances says PS. I'm on holiday from 4-13 July so it would be good to finalise a place beforehand so I can update the powwow info. Feel rather disorganised this time!
Hi I think the canalhouse is nice too but again I've only been when it is packed. I think its popularity depends on the weather...

I think we may have to do a rain dance then! I'll jog past there one evening and ask whether we can maybe reserve a table. Thanks for the ideas.

Here's a link to sign up for the Translator's Toolkit newsletter that I mentioned to a few folk at the PowWow. Lots of handy, time-saving tips and tricks, as well as software reviews and other stuff.

Thanks Sarah for organising the PowWow. It's always good to meet other translators. I'm happy to help organise the picnic wherever it may be
I'm so glad I came down for my first Nottingham PowWow, sorry I couldn't spend even more time with you all. Hope you like the photos.
