Spanish term

escrito de reiteracion

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general)
This appears in a list of actions taken before a Court of the first instance in Spain. Can anyone tell me what this is in English, please?
Proposed translations (English)

AllegroTrans Dec 27, 2010:
Perhaps....... the asker could answer
GGruia Dec 27, 2010:
Podria ser " complaint reiteration (filing)"
AllegroTrans Dec 27, 2010:
Context We still need more context from the asker to distinguish whether this is a formal pleading or simply a summary
Maria Garcia Dec 27, 2010:
Se refiere simplemente a un escrito reiterando o repitiendo otro anterior, generalmente un requerimiento de pago (extrajudicial) o una solicitud al Juzgado no proveída. No sé cuál puede ser la figura más próxima en inglés, si existe alguna. Hope this helps
AllegroTrans Dec 27, 2010:
@Asker So does the list of actions taken follow fro the heading "escrito de reiteracion"?
Paul Merriam Dec 26, 2010:
Summarization In the context you've given, this escrito de reiteración is simply a recap of all the actions taken. The "statement of aggreavating circumstances" onlhy applies to criminal proceedings.
bldtrad (asker) Dec 26, 2010:
It is a report from a firm of lawyers that simply lists the actions taken in proceedings to recover debts in a Comunidad de Propietarios in Spain. It comes after the application was filed with the court. I don't have any other information.
AllegroTrans Dec 26, 2010:
Context It would help if you could tell us whether these are criminal, civil or commercial proceedings, and also could you paste in some of the surrounding text please?

statement of aggravating circumstances

Esapasa Jurídico has two meanings for reiteración
a. the noun associated with reiterar. If this is the meaning, that would be resubmission in English.
b. aggravating circumstances based on the defendant's prior convictions.
Peer comment(s):

disagree AllegroTrans : nothing in the text suggests a defendant with convictions
