Spanish term
canon
Spanish to English
Bus/Financial
Business/Commerce (general)
I'm trying to work out the best way to translate "canon" in the context below. Here it refers to money paid for the right to operate various facilities associated with a conference centre (hotel, shopping centre, etc). Leasing fee/payment? Licensing fee/payment? Is there another, more appropriate option???
Se realiza un análisis económico-financiero de las actividades antes mencionadas y se calcula un ***canon*** por la explotation de las mismas que permita obtener una tasa de rentabilidad adecuada al inversionista.

I think uoy could use the same word in English. "Norm" is also an alternative. This is ment as a guideline for the price.

exploitation fee
what about this option? ...given that it'a a fee paid to have rights to operate/exploit certain facilities...

Licensing fee
In your context, since the translation depends on what the 'canon' is for.

Thank you. But I think the questioner made a good choice with 'concession fee'.

charge
Right now I'm translating into Spanish an English text referring to what business premises pay for the right to operate shops on the ground floor of a complex of three buildings in a Spanish marina. They call it "charge".
