German term

das Binde- und Stützgewebe haben

German to English Medical Medical: Instruments coatings on implants
„Biologische Beurteilung der Hartstoffschichten Titannitrid (TiN) und Titan-Niob-Nitrid (TiNbN) auf Implantatoberflächen“. Coatings are deposited by arc PVD process'
I just wanted to check that I had correctly understood the phrase “bzw. als Gleitfläche auf Implantaten das Binde- und Stützgewebe haben“: or (are intended for use) on connective and supporting tissue as sliding surfaces on implants?

My apologies, I just noticed that I did not really answer your question.
I understand the sentence in question as follows:

"The coatings act or can be seen as implant interfaces which have ... the connective and supporting tissue as sliding surface on implants."

Many thanks, Harald!
agree Lirka : "...but rather the poorly perfused bone tissue or the connective and supporting tissue to provide a sliding surface on implants"

Many thanks, lirka! I left out the "perfused bone" part because I wanted to draw more attention to the second part of the sentence, i.e. the problem part for the asker. Thanks for filling it in.
