Die dynamische Wellendichtung ist das empfindlichste Bauteil der modernen Pumpe. Weitere ausfallrelevante Bauteile sind das Lager (Wälzlager) und das Laufrad. Die wesentlichen Ausfallursachen sind hydraulische Störungen (wie Betrieb weit außerhalb des Optimums, Trockenlauf, unzulässige Kavitation, Gasmitförderung) sowie mechanische Störungen (wie Ausrichtungsfehler, ***Rohrleitungsverspannungen***).

Which are caused by things such as twisting, lack of or insufficient annealing after welding, incorrect installation, etc.

You might not believe this, but "pipeline stresses" is another way of saying "stress_es_ in the pipeline" (I wouldn't use "stress in the pipeline" either, they are almost always stresses).

piping loads

These can be loads imposed to the pump after it is installed, caused by thermal expansion, liquid weight, and the like. I would better use "piping load." (singular)

pipe strain

Hier geht es um die Kräfte, die durch die Verrohrung auf das Bauteil wirken - und dieses Phänomen kenne ich als pipe/piping strain.

Um es nochmal deutlich zu machen: hier geht es nicht um die auftretenden Kräfte innerhalb der Verrohrung, sondern um die über die Verbindung (Flansch) auf das Gehäuse, etc ausgeübten Kräfte.
