"Approval" works well in this context, e.g. P6 http://www.capacertified.org/press/CAPAbrochure.PDF.
For products can be "release (approval)", but not for organisations.

Thinking about this, I may have misread this. I understood that the Herstellern were acting as suppliers, in which case "approval of" is right. Seeing Brigitte's answer suggests that, actually, the Herstellern use the hydraulic liquid in their products. In any case, "to approve" is still the right verb, but this should be "approved by over 100 manufacturers".
For products can be "release (approval)", but not for organisations.

: In this case, I would go with this. The customer has tested their stuff and allows it to be used in the customer's equipment.

I have not followed your queries, so I am not sure which industry you are talking about. I know that the term "release" is a common one in the automotive industry and among it's suppliers - maybe that fits your context, too.
