If the question is whether your score on the Hope Scale today would be the same if you retook it in several weeks or months from now, the answer is probably. When we gave the Hope Scale to people over intervals of up to three months, the scores remained relatively stable. (Using a correlation statistic to measure this consistency over time, we have repeatedly found ***relationships of a .8 magnitude*** [with 1.0 being a one-to-one correspondence].)
