I think the idea is that you need to have an overall perspective and go into detail - alternately or simultaneously, but without more context...

But it means getting the whole picture, not being superficial.

Yes, of course you may ask, but actually that is all I have. A certificate of attendence, of a seminar, using this title. So it may be a seminar about 'speed reading' but I have no clue. Thanks again so much for your attention to such details. Much appreciated.
