She's had to decline... | Oct 23, 2006 |
Unfortunately the date conflicted with another commitment and after initially considering, Dominique has had to decline.
We have selected another winner and have left a voice message.
Thank you for your congratulation! | Oct 23, 2006 |
Hello!
Thank you for congratulating me, but as was said, I had to decline, unfortunately.
I hope the new winner can enjoy the trip.
Well, perhaps I will win again some other time, who knows.
All the best and thanks to the friendly staff of proz!

to the Proz.com staff for having phoned me too telling me to have won the trip to the Edinburgh conference, unfortunately I have already booked and bought another trip for that weekend. And I am truly sorry not to be able to attend.
Thanks for the nice call and hope the 3rd option winner will be able to go and enjoy the conference and meet you all:-)

Well Henry, it's clear that they are all going to decline until you get to me. To save time, I wholehartedly accept!

1. Ask all potential winners to confirm availability for the dates and pick the lucky one from a narrower circle:-).
2. Make it an open jaw - bring the winner to the nearest conference they can attend:-)
Good luck to everyone

I've just seen the new winner | Oct 26, 2006 |
Of course many of us wanted to be the winner.
I've just noticed that jmdirico's wwa has no entry. Was it supposed to have one to qualify for this selection?
WWA entry required for winner? | Oct 27, 2006 |

My thoughts exactly. Was this all just a hoax to get people to use WWA? The profile editor told me I would have to not only enable WWA, but get an entry too. Had I but known I was in the running too (without WWA), I would have been on the edge of my seat! Jokes aside, I think staff needs to address this issue. They're on, what, their third winner now?

Hi Liliana,
jmdirico's profile has all the fields needed to participate in the draw. In the case of the WWA field, the profile owner has opted for not showing this information, but there is a very nice entry there.
