I've been wanting to start using WF4 for the past few months but can't find an easy to follow, comprehensive, step by step guide to switch from WF3.
This may sound a bit naive, but while I've got a full-time work load I don't have the time (or patience) to jump into what feels like a brand new CAT.

Hi there,
I've been wanting to start using WF4 for the past few months but can't find an easy to follow, comprehensive, step by step guide to switch from WF3.
This may sound a bit naive, but while I've got a full-time work load I don't have the time (or patience) to jump into what feels like a brand new CAT.
I've gotten as far as opening new projects and importing new files but I can't use my TM and can't import my saved keystrokes. I bet I'll have a problem with glossaries too!

Dear DJH,
We are working on a guide that we will make available soon.
Have you tried importing your TM after creating a project?
Kind regards,
John

One thing I'm not getting is why I am having to re-create my TMs in WFP4? This seems a glorious waste of time...

Yes, WF4 is not at all user friendly.

I had opted to test beta version of WF4. I have spent lot of time trying to find some user friendly steps, but I am sorry to say that SDL Trados Studio, MemoQ and other xliff based CAT tools are far more user friendly. If an easy to understand step-by-step guide is not provided, it will be very difficult for the users to transit from WFP3 to WF4.
