Hi All,


I was requested by a client to sign and return a Certificate of Destruction to terminate the working relationship because I did not return a certain certificate to it. Nonetheless, I only received a software package from this client but I have never received any assignment from it. I believe that only my personal information is saved in its database.

I wonder if it is a must to return this Certification of Destruction and what may happen if I do or don't... See more

No, I did not pay for the software. Nonetheless, this software package was provided to me at least three years ago. I think this is not an updated version now.

I think this is just a formality. I would sign it and return it, but of course find and destroy any files or materials you may have received from the customer ever since you got in touch with them.
