Born in the beautiful coastal city of Varna, Bulgaria, I spent a significant part of my life moving around, changing schools, cities, and even countries. At the age of ten I found myself growing up in Israel, which was a unique experience of its own. In 2001 I came back to Bulgaria and began my studies in Varna’s University of Economics. By the time I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Travel, my career had evolved from a Tour Guide to a Travel Office Manager and I had become a mother of two.



At this stage I already knew there was something about languages I found really exciting and recognized a grammar-and-punctuality-obsession emerging. Joking aside, translation was part of my job characteristics anyhow, but full of energy and confidence, I simply needed additional challenges to feed my enthusiasm. So, when the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria certified me as a sworn translator, I took the parallel path of part-time freelancing.



Flexible and adaptive to change, I kept switching industries in search of a better work-life balance and overall satisfaction. Hebrew and English related tasks kept following me in the Real Estate business, the Quality Assurance field, and through all the legal, marketing, and even health care projects I had to deal with.



In the summer of 2016 I finally gained enough courage to become a full-time freelancer, which turned out to be one of the best decisions in my life. Today I have all the necessary tools and skills to tailor my services to the clients’ needs, meet their deadlines and quality expectations, and still enjoy a healthy relationship with family and friends. It was a long road to get here, but there’s so much more to accomplish. The Translation industry continues to evolve each day to keep up with the world’s digitalization and globalization, which makes it extremely exciting. There’s always a new skill to master, a new tool to learn, and new knowledge to gain.
