Recommendations
• For the visual section of the training course, we recommend that you have a 64kbps link. This means using an ISDN line or Broadband. Wireless connection is NOT recommended.
• For the audio section of the training course, we recommend that you have a headset or speakers.
• We recommend that you log in 30 minutes in advance of the start time to prepare for the training course.
Courses will be open half an hour before the start time. Please login before the start time to ensure that everything on your system is working correctly.
Bio: Michele Santiago é tradutora e revisora desde 2006. Tem vasta experiência em projetos das áreas de medicina, farmácia, negócios e informática, especialmente no campo de localização de software. Mestre em Tradução pela Universidade do Porto (Portugal), sua dissertação teve como tema a Tradução Automática. Também é Especialista em Tradução, no par Inglês-Português pela Unibero (São Paulo, Brasil), onde defendeu artigo sobre os desafios da tradução literária, especificamente de webcomics. Bacharel em Letras Inglês-Português pela USP (São Paulo, Brasil). Dentre os cursos extracurriculares, destaca-se o de Localização pelo Imperial College London (2011). É membro da associação American Translators Association (ATA).
