We will also review other strategic activities a freelance translator must not ignore when running his/her career. We will see how to set goals and objectives, and review them. We will share a few -but key- practical suggestions to make sure you are on your way to success as a freelancer.

Bio: Gabriela is a Certified English-Spanish Translator, who graduated in 1999 from a five-year program at the School of Languages, University of Córdoba, Argentina. She is currently completing an MBA. Gabriela is the CEO of Hispano Language Advisory, a translation and DTP company based in Argentina. On the basis of her experience, Gabriela has given numerous seminars, workshops and conferences on topics of interest for freelance translators.

questionable course advertising

I received a promotional email for this course, which first of all was not available at the discounted rate during the specified time frame. My bigger concern, however, is that I saw a limited number of "seats" advertised on this page, which I observed yesterday going down from 5 to 3 to 2 to 1, and then when I looked again today the number of available seats was back up to 10. Is this course only open to a specified number of people? If so, why would that number change? And if not, why is i... See more
