You can download CutePFD Writer from:

which will convert Word files into PDF files.

Good luck!

See Technical forum>software discussion Sep 2, 2004

There is a current discussion on this on the technical forum>software applications forum. I have bought the Scansoft PDF converter discussed there and it seems to work very well.
P. S.: they have companion software to go the other way, .doc to .pdf.

PDF995 is simply great. I have tried many other converters, but none comes near it. It does not corrupt charcters like some other converters do. Above all, it is FREE.

Hi,

I just ran into CIB, a plug-in for Word. I haven't tried it yet but it seeems to work quite well, judging from some postings in German computer-related fora. There are one free and several professional versions available. For the language, you may choose between English and German.

Here's what they say about themselves:

HTH!

Charlotte

Unfortunately, it does not work the other way round:(
