The Pow-Wow will take place at cafe "Lidojosa Varde", located right on the corner of Antonijas and Elizabetes streets, on Saturday, October 23rd, from 5 PM. Precise address is Elizabetes 31A.

Just a quick addition to Uldis' note. 'Lidojosa varde' is The Flying Frog (in English). I've seen it referred to by that name in various EN publications and just wanted to make sure no-one gets lost on the way.

For those of you who don't speak Latvian I just wanted to clarify that Ilga asked why we've suggested that the pow-wow should kick off at 5pm.
Well, I imagine that one of the main reasons is because we have a number of people planning to come from Lithuania, Estonia and even Poland, who won't be able to make it to Riga for, say, lunchtime (unless they set off very early in the morning).

Well, I imagine that one of the main reasons is because we have a number of people planning to come from Lithuania, Estonia and even Poland, who won't be able to make it to Riga for, say, lunchtime (unless they set off very early in the morning).
Despite the fact that it's a Saturday, many freelancers often work at the weekend, so at least a 5pm start will give them a chance to work during the day, before enjoying a well-earned rest in the evening.
