Is it possible to edit cleaned files, having the TM?

Can somebody edit a cleaned file, translated with Wordfast, if he/she has the relevant translation memory? Thanks and regards, AT

I'm not very clever user of Wordfast. But, I think you can't edit a cleaned file translated by Wordfast as when you reach the clean file stage then you have got the fruit of the whole process. On the other hand, a uncleaned file of course can be edited easily, if you have the relevant TM.

I think Wordfast is done with the document as soon as you clean it up. I usually edit the cleaned file, because I always read the file one last time, and if I want to make changes, which I always do, I have to open the TM and make the same changes there.

You can see the uncleaned file like a cleaned file for editing, by pressing Ctrl + comma, and this will hide the source language, then when you want to see the source language you just repeat this action.

As with a lot of wordfast, you might have to press Ctrl + comma, for it to start working.
