I've been working as a freelance translator since 2008, prior to that I worked in the IT industry for 9 years, primarily as a Technical Support Engineer. I have a diploma from System Development from a university in Norway, and a BA Hons in Humanities with English Language and Creative Writing from the Open University.
As a translator I've touched base with many subjects; medical documents (for various drug-campaigns materials) and equipment (including advertising material), IT strings, Caterpillar machinery (Operation and Maintenance Manuals), appliances of different types, data security, and many many more.

As well as having this experience, I am a hardworking individual, keen to learn new subjects as well as build upon my knowledge of known subjects, I am a keen researcher, have an eye for detail, and I stick to my deadlines.

I am a Norwegian native living in Newcastle, UK.
I have to my availability SDL Trados Studio 2015 (with a good knowledge of Translation Memories and SDL Multiterm), as well the MS Office package and Acrobat Reader.
