Source text - English Chapter 3 – Installation and Use
This chapter describes the DL8000’s external housing, its internal electronic components (the ROC800-Series CPU), and the specifics of mechanical and electrical installation.
3.1 Housing
The DL8000 housing is cast aluminum that, when appropriately sealed, provides a flame-proof enclosure.
Sixteen threaded stainless steel fasteners secure the lower portion of the housing to the hinged lid, which contains the display panel, operator keypad, and LED status display.

The DL8000’s design makes it highly adaptable to a wide variety of installations.
Consequently, this manual cannot cover all possible installation scenarios.

3.1 Корпус
Корпус DL8000 выполнен из литого алюминия и при плотном закрытии крышки является огнестойким.
Шестнадцать болтов из нержавеющей стали служат для соединения корпуса и передней панели (крышки). В нижней части панель подвешена на петли. На панели имеется дисплей, клавиатура и светодиоды состояния.

Excessive reactive power drawn by linear- and nonlinear loads deteriorates the Power Quality of the network in a variety of ways. This leads to reduced running efficiency and production quality of plants and an increased running cost.
When the reactive power demand is fluctuating due to fluctuating loads, this may lead to flicker which is potentially harmful to the human health. Traditionally, low cos ϕ problems are solved using fixed or contactor switched capacitor banks. However, loads whose reactive power demand is high and/or has a rapidly changing pattern, cannot be adequately compensated by these solutions.
