¿Santa o el Niño Jesús?
¡Qué gran duda la verdad!
¿A quién se le escribe entonces
la Carta de Navidad?
Andrés dice que es Santa
quien vuela como torbellino,
directo del Polo Norte
a dejar juguetes en el pino.
Según Clarisa es el Niño
el que viaja con el viento,
para traer los regalos
que pone en el nacimiento.
Hay canciones para el Niño
Y también las hay de Santa.
¿Cómo elegir solo algunas?
¡Si es que todas nos encantan!
Para aclarar la confusión
fueron con papá y mamá,
pero rápido entendieron
que no sabían mucho más.
¡Quién se iba a imaginar
que la respuesta que buscaban
les llegaría esa noche
mientras los dos soñaban!
Mucha gente se pregunta
¿Cómo un trineo alza vuelo?
Es porque además de Santa
¡Va un pasajero del cielo!
Otra gran interrogante
¿Cómo Santa entra a la casa?
Eso es porque hay rincones
¡donde solo un niño pasa!
Hay cosas que nadie entiende
¿Cómo cargan tanta cosa?
¡Ah! Es porque Santa tiene
¡una bolsa milagrosa!
Y lo que todos se cuestionan
¿Cómo viajan tanto en horas?
Es que para ellos siempre
¡el tiempo es aquí y ahora!
Ellos dos no compiten
porque no son rivales,
sino que forman un equipo
¡con poderes especiales!
Apenas saludó el sol
se despertaron risueños.
¿Sería verdad lo que vieron
o solo lo había sido un sueño?
Se quedaron asombrados
al ver algo muy bonito.
Había una estrella nueva
¡coronando el arbolito!
Más allá de los regalos
y del pesebre y el pino,
lo mejor de la navidad
¡es la llegada del Niño!
Contentos con la respuesta
Tan clara como la luz
¿A quién se le escribe la carta?
¡A Santa y al Niño Jesús!

“Baby Jesus! -Says Clarissa-
Who in winds of prosperity
Travels fast to bring the presents
Found besides Nativity.”
There are songs for Baby Jesus,
Tunes for making Santa proud
There’s no way to pick a single
Let’s just sing them all aloud!
Just to settle the confusion
They went asking Mom and Dad,
But they both would soon discover
Vague ideas were all they had.
Who would ever have imagined
That the night the answer would bring
While they both slept sound and cozy
Playing peacefully in their dreams.
Everyone has always wondered
How a sledge could cross the sky?
That’s ‘cause Santa has a partner
That would help him fly it by!
There’s another big conundrum
How does Santa enter the house?
That’s because there are some places
Only a child will fit, not Claus!
Everybody keeps on asking
How he carries all the presents?
Well, he crams them all together
In a bag of magic essence!
And then people posed the question:
In one night the world is crossed?
Well, my friends, there’s but one logic:
Time and space for them are frost!
They have never been competing
And there’s never been a rival,
They just form a strong alliance
Where power and love are vital!
Now the morning sun is rising
Both the kids awake in joy
Is it real what they have witnessed
Or was just somebody’s ploy?
Clarissa and Andrew stood in awe
When they came along to see
A new star of magic shining
Just atop the Christmas tree!
Even more than all the presents,
Or the tree and the manger’s lair,
The best Christmas has to offer
Is the arrival of God’s heir!
Very happy with the answer
As clear as the light of reason
Who will then receive the letter?
Both Santa and Baby Jesus!

A Santa y al Niño Jesús
le escriben con emoción
para pedir sus regalos
y también la bendición.

A la mañana siguiente
se llevaron la sorpresota
de ver que ya no estaba
la carta en sus botas.

Y entonces preguntaron
con mucha curiosidad:
¿A dónde se fue ahora
la Carta de Navidad?

Pidieron en su rezo
un deseo navideño:
“Papá Dios, ¿nos muestras
la respuesta en un sueño?”

Se durmieron en sus camas
tranquilitos descansando,
y de repente sin saberlo
¡en una nube iban volando!

Así fue que descubrieron
el destino del correo
y para ver lo que sigue
cada uno hizo un paseo.

Andrés fue al Polo Norte
donde Santa y sus ayudantes
fabrican los juguetes
con alegría desbordante.

También pudo observar
a sus agentes geniales
que buscan en las tiendas
los regalos especiales.

En un ambiente increíble
de magia y felicidad,
preparan los regalos
para la noche de Navidad.

Clarisa visitó el Cielo
y vio contento al Niño,
enviando a sus amigos
a cuidarnos con cariño.

Son Ángeles de la Guarda,
nuestra dulce compañía,
que no nos desamparan
ni de noche ni de día.

Pero además de su labor
de evitarnos algún daño,
vigilan nuestra conducta
durante todo el año.

que cada niño ha ganado.

Cuando despega el trineo
celebran alegremente,

Then, where did the letter go?

For a Christmas wish come true:
“Dear God show us in a dream
What’s the answer, give us clue”?

At night when they went to sleep
Feeling they were safe and sound
They woke up all of a sudden
Flying on a puffy cloud.

This is how they could discover
The mail’s final destination,
And to have a better look
They took different directions.

Andrew went to the North Pole
Where he saw Santa and his helpers
Making all those nifty toys
With big smiles and cheerful temper.

He did also take a peek
At how Santa’s brilliant agents
Look around in every store
For some very special presents.

In an awesome atmosphere
Full of magic and good vibes
They prepare all of the gifts
For the nearing Christmas Night.

Clarissa traveled up to Heaven
And saw a cheerful Son of God
Sending all his merry friends
To watch carefully over us.

They are our Guardian Angels,
They are our sweet companion,
Be it night or light of day
We would never be abandoned.

But besides their arduous work
To prevent us all from harm,
They’re with us all year ‘round
Checking that we keep our charm.

On the day of Christmas Eve
A team highly coordinated
Loads the gifts for all the kids
That behaved and well deserve ‘em.

When the sleight takes off and flies
They break into a joyful cheer
And the friends then say good-bye
Till they meet again next year.

What a joy it is to rise
To the light of Christmas morning,
Now imagine when you do it
knowing a truth that’s so rewarding!
