I was employed for 7 years as an in-house translator with a major London insurance/reinsurance broking company. Since 1983 I have worked as a freelance translator, specialising insurance/reinsurance and, more recently, clinical trial documentation, but handling texts in a variety of fields.

I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, and was granted Chartered Linguist Status in 2014.
