Professional Profile I am a freelance English–German technical translator with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and more than 25 years of experience in technical translation and proofreading.
Alongside my translation work, I spent over twenty years in engineering roles within the automotive industry, covering manufacturing engineering, production planning, industrial automation and project management. This practical background helps me understand technical documentation from an engineer's perspective rather than from a purely linguistic one.
