I graduated with a Hispanic Studies degree in 2003, completed an MA in Applied Linguistics and TESOL in 2011 and have been working as a freelance translator since then. I hold certificates in two units of the IOL Diptrans qualification (General, Social Science).

With four years experience as a translation project manager I have an acute awareness of the translation process and the high level of quality and attention to detail required. I know exactly the pressures of the deadlines, the balance to strike between expectations from the client and what a translator can deliver. I know you have to be confident that the translator you use - especially for the first time - is capable of delivering a high quality translation, on brief, and to deadline.
