My name is Mariana, I'm from Portugal, and I've been a translator for about a decade now.

I majored in English and minored in Italian at University within a Translation Studies Bachelor Degree. I also attended a 3 year course in Spanish. By the time I started my major in Translation Studies though, I already had a Bachelor Degree in Radiology, and had worked at my city's public hospital.

My mixed science and language background provides me with the ideal resources to work in the technical field. The gross of my work is carried out in 3 major industries - MEDICAL, AUTOMOTIVE, and INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY. That means I translate A LOT of manuals, procedures and IFUs.

During Uni, because I was designated student of the year in the subject of Italian, I won a language course in Italy. I studied in Università per Stranieri di Perugia, and it was an unforgettable experience.
